Abed:I wrote this announcement myself.

Dean Winger:Your cousins? Frankie, the administration budget—

Frankie Dart:Solved that by selling the east wing to a cryptocurrency startup. They're very quiet. Mostly just stare at computers in the dark.

Britta:Frankie, you're so competent at everything. I wish I could be like you.

Britta:Then again, I once microwaved a whole chicken with the plastic still on it, so... that bar is pretty low.

Annie:But if Frankie changes everything about Greendale, is it still Greendale?

Jeff:That's the Ship of Theseus.

Abed:Okay, so you're the new Dean's assistant. Let me give you some notes. Your character lacks distinctness. You're basically a composite of every mid-level administrator we've ever seen. You need a quirk, a tell, something that makes you memorable.

Frankie:I'm sorry, what?

Abed:Also, your delivery is too natural. We need you to be more arch, more theatrical. And that outfit—it's very 'sensible shoes.' We can work with that, actually. Lean into it.

Abed:Cue the indie rock music and quick cuts of us slowly falling apart.

Dean Pelton:Congratulations, Jeff. Another successful ladder class.

Jeff Winger:Dean, the professor just fell.

Dean Pelton:I know. That's what I said.

Jeff Winger:So you're not going to hire her?

Hiring Manager:Are you kidding? After what you just told me about her references, her work history, and that thing with the... no, we're definitely not hiring her.

Jeff Winger:Excellent. Well, I should probably get going before she realizes I've been doing this.
