Bobby:Bobby reveals he cruises the theater district hoping to meet someone like Nora, then says 'Not only did I meet someone like you, I met you. Now you can't get any more like you than you, can you?'

Nora:You have such a great smile.

Bobby:Thanks! You really think so?

Nora:Oh, absolutely. The way it's captured in this eight-by-ten glossy is just perfect.

Nora:Bobby, your headshot needs work. You should get a better one taken.

Bobby:What's wrong with this one?

Nora:Well, for starters, someone drew a mustache on it in pen.

Bobby:That was Louie!

Louie:It improved it.

Bobby:I'm just saying, the Times review was very complimentary. I think it's only natural I mention it.

Nora:Bobby, the Times review said you were 'adequate.'

Bobby:Exactly! Very complimentary.

Nora:That's not complimentary, that's a cry for help.

Bobby:You almost picked up Mike Nichols? That's incredible!

Nora:Well, I almost picked him up too.

Bobby:You did?

Nora:Yeah, but then I realized it was just some guy who looked like him.

Nora:That's a wonderful laugh you have.

Bobby:Thank you. It's my weakest feature.

Bobby:I know it sounds boring, but that's the whole point of the play. It's supposed to make you feel nothing.

Nora:I'm telling you, I'll be there! Why do you keep saying I won't show up?

Bobby:Because you never do.

Nora:That's not true! I'm going to be there, and I'm going to be ON TIME. I swear to God, Bobby, I will be there if it kills me!

Bobby:Alex said he's never coming back here again.

Tony:You think he was kidding?

Elaine:Alex won't return my calls.

Elaine:He said, 'I never want to see you again.' He was joking, right? Right?

Jim:This guy was a farmer when he was loaded. I mean, can you imagine? He's out there trying to plant a chicken.

Bobby:A manager will take control of my career and guide me to stardom.

Louie:Bobby, you gotta have a career before somebody can manage it.

Louie:Even your foot overacts.

Louie:Yeah, yeah, he's not here right now. Where am I? I live here!

Louie:What do you mean where do I live? I live here! In the cab company!

Louie:My apartment? I don't have an apartment! I live here!

Nora:That was... that was really something. I mean, the effort you put into that play was just... remarkable. You really gave it everything you had out there. I could see how much you cared about every moment of it.

Nora:It was absolutely terrible.

Bobby:Well, I appreciate the offer, but I gotta think about it.

Nora:Think about it? Bobby, this is your dream!

Bobby:I know, I know. But I gotta sleep on it.

Nora:Here are the keys to my apartment. See ya.

Bobby:Then we went to her apartment, we talked some business and then we went to bed.

Bobby:Louie, keep this quiet, okay?

Louie:Okay, okay, I won't say nothing.

Louie:HEY EVERYBODY! LISTEN UP!

Elaine:Bobby found both a manager and a girlfriend.

Elaine:I mean, a manager and a... a companion. A manager and a friend who is a woman.

Jim:Look, Bobby, it's not a big deal. It's just a natural thing that happens between two people who care about each other.

Bobby:But Jim, I'm worried I did it wrong.

Jim:Wrong? Bobby, there's no wrong way to... to park the car in the garage.

Louie:You got a good body, Bobby. You use it right, you can go places in this business.

Bobby:You really think so, Louie?

Louie:Sure. Because let's face it, kid — you got no talent.

Bobby:I walked out on stage, completely blanked on my lines. The director was staring at me with this look of disgust. I could feel the sweat pouring down my face. And then... I threw up. Right there on stage.

Bobby:It was a character choice! The guy's nervous, he's anxious... I was just trying to bring authenticity to the role.

Bobby:You see, that's the problem with our relationship right there.

Nora:Bobby, that's the kitchen.

Nora:Well, if that's what it takes to get ahead in this business, I'm willing to make that sacrifice.

Bobby:Why choose? It's a buisness-ship!

Bobby:I have my self-respect.

Nora:Then you won't come back to work here.

Bobby:You're right. I won't.

Nora:Will you come back?

Bobby:Yeah, okay.

Bobby:At least I still have my shoes.

Nora:Oh yeah? Give me your shoes.

Bobby:Nora, please don't make me do this...

Bobby:I got my shoes back!

Alex:You know, you can ski and party for only so long before it gets old.

Alex:I stopped because I ran out of money, not because I got bored.
